Long story short the CD is above the Metal plate that is above the CD tray, I can see it, it does not get out and it does not move around there the CD tray still reads CD's and there is no noise from the Laptop. Everything works fine so far should I worry? Could this cause problems later? I am in a remote location in Turkey with no Asus (well one I can trust) service centers. If I plan to take it out it will be at a service center when I get back to Canada, which is in 2 weeks. What should I do? Should I stop using it? Or not even care?

Get a paper clip, make it long and straight, and insert it into the tight little hold on the side of the ODD face bezel. That should manually eject the drive. Oh yes, pun intended.

The CD is stuck outside anything that got to do with the CD tray.

Oh, above the metal plate. Sorry about that. Have you tried removing the drive?

How difficult will it be to remove the whole cd drive? Because I do not have the tools and if I mess up I am far away from a decent service center. Could I just leave it like that and forget about it. My CD drive still reads CD's and there is no noise when I shake the laptop.

Thanks for the fast response BTW.

If you do not have the tools, then I would say wait it out. I'm assuming you are covered by Asus' fine warranty?
