    hey
i have a problem and cant seem to find a solution.
i just bought a linksys routeur to setup wireless in my appartement just before internet arrives ( internet arrives tomorow yay )
so i bought the wireless routeur linksys WRT610N and heres the problem
to install the routeur you have to first of all install a program on the computer
but when i try to install it , it has to detect the ethernet card
and it dont.It tells me that only a wireless card has been detected and you cant install the routeur on wireless but only with ethernet...
so i cant install it but theres a ethernet adapter on the computer so i guess the wireless card does both ?
so what can i do ? does the ethernet have to be activated ? how ?

and theres another question i sometimes have my wifi being desactivated i dont know why
and even if i try to reactivate it with alt f2 it turns on for a few seconds and turns back off...

    thank you for your answers

    Is your ethernet card enabled?
Also you might have to have an ethernet cable connected from your laptop to the router.

Try re-installing your network drivers for both of your network cards.
