I installed windows 7 yesterday and now I cant seem to get the built in webcam detected. I tried virtual camera (the asus software), but the program won't even open up, and I don't know of any other free video recording software. I tried installing new drivers, but I don't know which ones I would need. One of the drivers I installed said it couldnt detect my camera.. so idk whats going on. Any ideas?

Install drivers, then go into Power4Gear, and make sure Camera is ticked on the power setting you're currently on.

What drivers do I need though? That's what I can't figure out. There seems to be so many different drivers for the exact same thing..

You need to go to device manager, and find your camera. then go to properies, and go to the furthest tab to the right. find your Hardware ID. then compare the hardware ID string to the ones listed under the drivers section.
