    Asus G51J P4G Odd behaviour?

    Howdy,

    So I've been using the g51j alot, and thanks to the new fix I went out and got CODMW2 and it works beautifully (apart from its own in-menu freezing issue). However, I have been noticing something odd.

    I am a frequent player of a game called Shadowrun, and 99% of time time i will play the game on high-performance mode and have fraps run in the background. With this I usually get a framerate of 140-180 on low settings. It has rarely gone lower than this or higher on High Performance settings.

    Back 1.5 months ago I had set it to entertainment mode on accident, and noticed an FPS increase but did not really think anything of it.

    Right now I played for 20 minutes on Entertainment mode on accident, and my framerate was consistently atleast 220FPS.

    I have my settings for entertainment mode/ High Performance as follows.

    Entertainment
    Min CPU State: 5%
    Max CPU State: 100%


    High Performance Mode
    Min CPU State: 100%
    Max CPU State: 100%

    Can anybody explain this, I suspect it has something to do with the way the i7 works. This may have been discussed before so forgive me if I failed to read some of the other ongoing threads, they get so off-topic that I don't bother anymore. BTW I do have the newest version of P4G, with nvidias newest beta driver (195.81 I think?).

    Hm, thats very strange, I might just run in entertainment mode :p. But thats really strange never heard of it. Their will be many people here that might know though.
