    I ordered mine from XoticPC... I'm sure with the high Canadian dollar ordering from the US or Canada will be very similar price-wise.

    You can pricematch at NCIX. GreyTech has it at $1567.95.

    So 1567.95 + shipping(unless there's a coupon/sale this week, on Wednesday, on free/cheap shipping) and if you reside outside of B.C., you only get charged one tax :)

    Ok, I live in Halifax and ordered from Xotic a few days ago. I just cancelled my Xotic order as I noticed it is available on Newegg.ca for $1549.99. Just pulled the trigger and can't wait for that beast to get here, cost me $1,772.71 shipping and taxes in. When you consider the specs and extras that is an excellent price.

    My bad; I had my G50vt for as long as I did which is why I’ve gotten use to typing "0" after 5. Anyhow, the store will be selling the G51j-A1 at the same price as Newegg.ca minus the shipping charges and the wait. :D

    NCIX has quite a loyal following over at RedFlagDeals(Canadian deal site/forum) where I first discovered them, and their sales are usually decent. They pricematch which is pretty good, shipping can be a problem but they have shipping promotions pretty often so that evens it out, plus the fact they only charge GST, 5%, so that's a lot on large purchases. I've spent over $10,000 at NCIX over the past 5~ish years, never had a major problem. The only ones I've had were DOA PSU, Motherboard and Video Card, all of which had new ones sent to me before I sent the DOA one back, their customer support have always been helpful. Slow at times which I can understand, but haven't gotten ignored yet ;)

    I'd prefer them over most other major online computer parts company like Tiger Direct and Canada Computers.

    Ugh... I've never really had a good experience with Newegg.ca they've always taken forever to ship my orders and UPS is slow as heck coming from the US. I ordered Wednesday evening.

    Last time I ordered from Newegg UPS took 7 business days to get the package to me... so it'll be a couple weeks before I get my laptop :(

    I was really hoping they'd ship it before the weekend so it'd get moving, but it looks unlikely given they haven't even charged my CC.

    I just picked one up from Canada Computers. It seems to be as cheap as it is going to get for the time being at $1669.99.

    It's a great machine with respect to performance - almost as fast as a reasonably high-end desktop. Aesthetically, it looks much better in person than the web photos suggest. Great buy!

    I thought newegg was carrying it (until it was set to "deactivated") for 1549.99. I never found it at Notebook Depot either.
