First I would like to say yes i'm new, but I have been lurking these forums for a few months since I got my G51VX so i've read the forums a few times and practically hovered over the "An Optimization Guide for the Asus G51". Second I have to thank Forge and all the others of that forum for helping me and others overclock there pc and get the most of there laptop. It was clear and quite helpful for the newbs who has never done a thing with computers before.

With that said I wanted to ask is there anyway to stop the keyboards from ghosting. I've been looking and looking but have seen nothing covering the problem in where if I type to fast my keys will only partially register what I click. Meaning I'll only get some things like "HI ou ding pople" It's irritating and even when I've search. I've never came across a fix. So if anyone knows how to I would most appreciate it if you can enlighten me.

Hi Water Biscuit Mcgee. From my observation, a lot of G51 users have been complaining about the keyboard ghosting since day one, and it still hasn't been addressed by Asus yet.

Its just with these keys you have to press them directly on, as sometimes the keys dont get pressed in fully. Missing keystrokes rarely happens to me and when it does its because i didnt press the key hard enough.

Well thank you for the fast responds. I guess I'll just try pressing harder on the keypad from now on and hope that a fix comes along. Thanks again.

The only solution thus far is to uninstall your Synaptics touchpad drivers. You'll lose the advanced functions on it by doing this though.

I had this problem before... Just keep using your computer as usual, you will notice the problem will solve by itself =P I mean, you will eventually start pressing the keys harder at the right pressure =)
