First, I want to apologize if a thread similar to this has been created. But I really want to upgrade my Asus G51VX-RX05's (from Best Buy) cpu. And I honestly don't know much about computers or upgrading, can anybody be so kind to guide me to the best processor compatible with my laptop and perhaps a tutorial on how to upgrade it. Thank you in advance from a complete noob :p.

I was so impressed with this notebook and all the games compatible with it, but when I popped in GTAIV, I was not happy... So I really want to upgrade processor :p. I bought this laptop as an replacement to my G50 that was robbed from me about a year ago : (. Thank you again in advance.

The "highest" CPU you can get is a X9100. Speaking of which, post some more so I can PM you.

I honestly don't need the power it has. A lesser processor will work perfectly for me.

Anyway, I make more posts so I can PM you.

You need atleast five posts. Then you will need to wait for the server privilage list to refresh, which is usually takes place after a few hours to a day.
