Hey, I've been thinking of getting a nice, mid to high end gaming laptop for a while now and I got my eye set on this- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220576
Ive looked around and read people talking about not so good upgradeability, could I still swap the DVD drive for a bluray relatively easily? I really want bluray. And how good settings on crysis do you think this configuration will be able to run(high settings with x2 AA?). And finally is this a good buy or is there better for cheaper?

1. Yes you can upgrade to bluray and its about the easiest upgrade 2 screws and the drive cover swap.
2. Not sure about crysis at the native 1920x1080 resolution but you can always down res for better performance. Many have played Crysis with the GtX260M @ 2.53 or less and have been very satisfied in the performance.
3. IMO there is nothing better for cheaper. I would suggest using BING to get cashback to make it an even better buy. Some might say the A1 Quad 2.0 is better but for what I do now and in the near future the higher speed Duo is better than a lower clocked quad. -
How do I use bing to get cashback?

Go here and create an account.

Then log into your BING account and "go shopping" then go to any available e-tailer via BING and your cashback account will receive a percent of your purchases back.
If you are looking at non-Egg exclusive models I would strongly suggest GenTech PC as they are a true solid ASUS reseller. -
I just need to know two more things - how much money do I get back with bing and would I get money back if I got somthing from xoticpc?

It depends on how much the cashback deal is right now. Microsoft will reimburse your Paypal after a few months.

How about Xoticpc? Do I get cashback from bing if I buy from xoticpc?
