    Asus G51VX-X1A questions

    I was planning on buying the G71GX-RX05 from best buy but decided on the G51VX-X1A. I wanted the portability and also I heard the screen is slightly better. What's the max you can upgrade the Ram to on the G51? Has quad core support been implemented yet? And lastly, what is the average users can overclock the CPU to on the G51. I know on the G71 it's around 2.8

    8GB is the max. No one knows yet on the quad, no one has been brave enough to do it.

    I've heard the speakers on the G51 series are very quiet. Is this true? Might just be a deciding factor. Also if anyone can tell me how high you can overclock the G51VX-X1A's CPU that'd be great

    Well....some people have found it to be really quiet. I think its fine actually.

    CPU wise, probably 2.8 easily, maybe 2.9 and higher
