I know this has been asked tons of times over and over, but I haven't seen one about the G51Vx-X3A.

Aren't all G51Vx notebooks fundamentally the same? The reason why I'm asking this is because I really need 8GB of memory, and I'm not sure if the notebook will support it.

If it does, will it run all 8GB at the default speed of PC2 6400 instead of downclocking it to PC2 5300 (as I've read a lot of laptops do)?
