Asus G51vx-A1 Out of Stock

I am From Hong Kong and I hv purchased the G51vx-a1 and paid it via paypal from Excaliberpc Ebay store on 19th of Aug, and then they told me that it is out of stock. anyone know that when will it in stock again?

 

How about asking ExcaliberPC?

Because they know anyone with half a brain will use the bing 10% and get $175 back.

this is my first time to purchase laptop oversea, and I hv waited it for one month already .it really disappointed me that the US supply chain control is much worse than in Hong Kong and China

i don't know why stocks have been so low stateside but up here at this place in canada they have 91 units of the a1 variant in their westcoast warehouse lol(not including what they have on hand in their stores 9...) AND 73 units in their east coast warehouse!
also they are selling another g51 variant the X4 with a t6600 cpu >_< link

 

Damn, where do they get that many, that is a total of over 150 G51vx-A1, and the America cant get hold on any of them?

 

im so mad i purchased mine Sep. 2 on ebay(127.00)cashback. first they said i had to wait 1 week then 2 more weeks ETA is october.

I am wondering how to set up RAID-0 after my G51 has arrived

 

go into bios, change the config from Enhanced to RAID, then when booting type ctrl+I

 

type ctrl+I???? i guess it should be "press"

 

If you're getting a model other than the A1 (already has 2 drives) try to get the same Seagate Momentus 320GB drive. Newegg has the OEM version on sale for $70 right now:

Other 7200rpm 320GB drives should work in theory anyway, but I'd try to stick with the same model.

omg!!!omg!!! i hv got my one already, and i am making a RAID-0 on it.....

 

excuse me, now i got a problem, after i change the enhanced to RAID in bios, then i press ctrl+i when the republic of gamers logo popup, and then nothing happened and the screen keep stuck there..... plz help..

 

Did you set the drive mode to RAID in the bios?
