I just got the refurbished G51 from Buy and I love it. However, my speakers seem to work off and on. My headphones work just fine, but my speakers don't seem to work.

Any ideas? I've tried Googling and found something onthe Asus forums that helped for a little while, but then the speakers stopped again.

And now they're on again. Wow. Any ideas on what's happening? Hardware or software problem?

Is it only doing it during certain programs... IE: Itunes or Windows Media Player/Center?? Also, does it stop stop, or skip and "lag" so to speak. Have you tried updating your drivers from the sound chips maker? Usually its Realtek that does it.
