    You guys are cruel.... :)
    Here is my list:
    1. Purchase a case,that laptop costs a grand,treat it like one.
    2. Buy a mouse,The trackpad gets old fast.
    3. Buy your choice of good games (Hawx,Modern Warfrare 2,crysis,WoW,Star Trek online etc)
    4. Buy a Xbox 360 wired controller for games,it's worth it.
    5. Keep it clean and try to keep liquids away from it.
    6. Never walk around with it opened, close it and hold it with two hands.
    7. Be careful about heat, try to use it in a way that it can get good cooling.
    8. Windows updates will cause more pain than help.
    9. Update your Video card driver from Nvidia's website,it is an Nvidia Geforce GTX 360m
    10. Only delete the Asus update program, you can also delete norton too if you want...

I voided my wrrenty in the first week, I cut a hole in the bottom of the back plater, where the fan intake is, this helps out with the cooling tremendously, but you probably won't want to play that game.

If you hard drive is to slow (7200 rpm's isn't bad) Then a nice solid state drive would be nice, good news is that rpelaceing a hard drive won't void a warrenty the bad news is that a solid state drive is expensive and you won't get much more than 60-120G of space, practically speeking.

I replaced my ram, you could do that some day also, this won't void your warrenty either, but will still cost you a pretty penny, about $280.

Last but not least, the socket for the cpu is a pga 989 and has an HM55 chipset so you can easily upgrade to a core i7 720m or 820m. I upgraded to the 820m and it runs great, This will void your warrenty, but is deffinately worth it. Of course this will also cost like $350 on E-Bay.

I didn't state any of the obvious things that you could do to better your laptop because others have already done so. I figured these could be project for that rainy day about a year from now when your warrenty is all dried up, happy computing
