Hey, I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this. Shortly after logging in (30 seconds to a minute) my computer just freezes. I can not do anything, it does not do anything, it just freezes. If i leave it alone, it doesn't do anything, but it does get pretty hot. I think the problem is related to steam, but I can run steam in safe mode. I don't think I have installed something new, so I really don't know what is wrong . Please help (and tell me if i have incorrectly posted this)

Yes, I got it to work by uninstalling steam. But now I am without my purchased games that used to work just fine.

-edit- apparently (duhh) steam has a forum. Anyway, it seems that other people are experiencing this issue.

Anyway, I guess it's not a problem with my laptop as I initially thought.

From what I understood, that stopped working for him after a few days. Also, I currently can't do a system restore, but I can try that this weekend.

From what I understand, we both have the same laptop, so maybe that IS the problem. (I am no_one11 on steam) Going to try a system restore asap
