    Asus G60Vx, replace the screen with G50V/G50VT screen?

    Well as you might have guessed it wouldn't fit due to the size of the LCD front, bezel, bracket and inverter.

    But what if you replaced all of those, would it work? No compatibility issues? It would be great to know for future "upgrade" (higher res with G50V's screen, that's an upgrade in my opinion). Although it seems the G50J got a res with 1680x1050, so maybe that instead? Considering the overall size with the G50J and G60Vx.

    I wouldn't necessary need or want 1680x1050 but someone might, 1440x900 AT LEAST on my part.

    Alright, the G50J parts isn't available on www.asusparts.eu but there is for the G50V/VT, it may be 15.6" but at least i'd at least 1440x900 res. But as for the first question, is this possible?
