    Hi,
I have an Asus G70s with an Intel 4965AGN. It worked great but I made the mistake of trying to get the driver updated yesterday using the latest driver available on Intel's site. The driver installed and the device shows as working but Vista cannot find Wifi signals. I tried rolling back the driver and that didn't work. I also tried using the original driver from the Asus Driver and Utility CD and it still doesn't work. The WiFi switch is ON. Anyone know how to get this fixed?

Yeah I tried but it doesn't work still. The adapter says it is working fine but still the Wifi does not see any hotspots

Make sure you uninstall your previous driver first before installing a new driver. Also, try doing this in safe mode.

I tried the uninstall but will try again in Safe Mode later. I'm really getting annoyed that such a minor update would break the entire thing. Will keep you guys updated :)

Nothing seems to be working so far. Tried to install Wireless console again...nothing. Vista says device is working but the wifi light does not come on.

Do you have ATKOSD2 installed? Also try pressing Fn+F2 to see if you can enable your wifi that way.
