Asus G71G-A1: Taking gaming requests

In preparation for my review, I'm taking on requests for gaming performance videos (similar to the ones I did on my G50 review).

So far, the games I'm planning to record are:
Crysis demo
Red Alert 3 demo
Need for Speed Carbon demo
Call of duty 4 demo
Call of duty 5 (world at war) demo

Anyone have any requests? Preferably games that are free and/or can be downloaded easily

Seriously tho I really wanna know how WaW does on that beast compared to CoD4, even though they are on the same engine, they do not perform the same on my lowly G50V. If you can play it on max I am going to be filled with envy!!

 

Well, I'm not going to record the gaming performance for Dora the Explorer, but would you settle for a screenshot w/ FRAPS?

I think that would be a good benchmark.

Also can you also try give us information about overclocking the CPU, Asus advertised that the software provided (Power4Gear) can overclock it to 2,8 GHz and still keep it stable, I have my doubts and have read a lot that you cant overclock things despite Asus saying you can

how about far cry 2? its a fairly intensive game. Not sure if theres a demo available atm tho.

Yea I beat that demo into the ground last night, I don't think I've laughed so hard in a long time. It's actually kind of fun once you get to the competition part of the demo. GREAT JUMP!!!!

Sorry, I got things really OT.

But definitely see if you can do UT3, since there are and will be many games that use Unreal Engine 3. Not sure if there is a demo though. If not, maybe something that uses UE3 like Bioshock or another game on this list should work.

Just stopped by Best Buy to pick up a few games-bought Fall Out 3, Call of Duty WaW, and Devil May Cry 4.
Apparently, Hello Kitty Super Island Adventures, Dora the Explorer Fairytale Adventure and that crazy horse game were all sold out.... sorry guys

I had a striking suspicion somebody would say GTA IV.. Benchmarking that seems to only tell people how utterly crap their system is, when it's not.

 

I think I have enough games in hand for now. I actually went to best buy again today and picked up 2 more games. So far, the list is as follows;

Devil May Cry 4
Call of Duty 4 (Modern Warfare) demo
Call of Duty 5 (World at War)
Left 4 Dead
C&C Red Alert 3
FallOut 3

UT3 demo
