    Hi everybody,

This is my first post here in NotebookReview, so Hello to all! :)

I'm Brazilian and at this time I don't speak English very well yet, but I'll try to communicate with you as well as I can.

If I make some mistakes, please guide me. :)

So, lets go to the questions...

I having some troubles with my notebook and I want to know if have someone here that could help me to solve them.

    1)
I've installed Windows 7 RC and then I can't use Direct Console 2 to turn on the led lights of the notebook.
Asus Support put a version in their website that supports Windows 7, but even so still don't working.

    2)
Does have in USA some stores where they sell a keyboard for this model? Or fix keyboard problems?
Unfortunately one key broke in travel to Brazil and I couldn't fix it... I'm so sad about it, so I want to change the keyboard!

Thanks all, and one more time, sorry for my bad English.

Hello buddy and welcome to NBR

That's weird, many people wants to turn off the led lights and you have the opposite problem lol sorry, can't help you with that until my G51 comes.
About the keyboard, have you tried to open and fix it yourself? if you doesn't have the knowledge to do this, try a professional repair center "assistência técnica" e boa sorte.

When I took my notebook and used for the first time, my first impression was to turn off the led lights too, you're right.

But sometimes I want to show that to my friends and Direct Console 2 doesn't work.

I'll wait until the Microsoft officially release the Windows 7 at the end of this month and see if Asus Support put another version in their website.

About the keyboard, yes I tried to fix it myself but doesn't work.
Because of this, I asked to you if have some stores there in USA where they sell a keyboard of this model. Do you know some?

At this moment I'm using a external USB Keyboard, so that's not a big problem, but as soon as possible I want to fix it changing the keyboard.

Here in Brazil we have some professional repair centers of Asus, but this model of notebook isn't sold here yet. So I don't think they can take the model and fix it for me at this time.

Sorry for my bad English and if I made some mistakes, please correct me.

Thanks for the answers and have a nice day.
    See ya.
