I'm potentially looking for a nice gaming system after my sager fried. I didn't want to go nuts and spend the full 2+ grand this time so this system which I've seen for a bit over a grand in a few places appeals to me. As does Asus's nice warranties.

However I want to try to buy in Canada this time, is there any place to get this system for a good price in Canada? Canadacomputers and PC village don't have it yet.

Damn I just wish it had a 1900x1200 monitor and then it would be perfect!

    Thanks!

Damn US best buy. How come US best buy has so much more variety then Canadian best buy. We get literally nothing compared to the systems in US best buy.

Could have a friend buy it and ship it to you in Canada.

I am with you on the screen size. You get used to it after awhile though.

thats for sure Canadian best buy has a huge selection of notebooks with most of them having integrated graphics, but very few notebooks with any sort of dedicated graphics card

I am thinking about buying G72. What about customs and taxes when someone ships a laptop from USA to Canada.

I'm fairly sure BestBuy Asus' don't have alot of the perks of buying elsewhere. No accessories, AD Warranty, etc...
