About 3 days ago my girlfriend bought me the Asus G72GX from best buy and so far im loving it. I had a few questions about the keyboard i cant seem to find anwswers too though, my backlit keyboard has turned itself off for some reason and i was wondering how i can turn it back on? Also how to use the keyboard shortcut commands on the F1-F12 buttons such as the F11 and F12 have volume control, I just wanna know how to use those shortcuts and turn my backlit keyboard back on, thanks in advance guys. :)

You need to hold the Fn key at the bottom left of your keyboard to access the secondary functions of certain keys.

To turn you keyboard lights on or up hold the Fn key and hit F4. Fn and F3 to turn it down.

I really have to type faster :) Answer goes up before I hit the submit button.

Is the G72GX keyboard exactly the same as the G51's? Thinking about getting a bigger model (17") in the future and I really want to have the same keyboard.

Im not sure they are the same, i though they werent, as in the Bestbuy G72 has the following pic, which has different enter (double size), smaller left shift, etc.

But checking Eclypse3D Asus G72GX RBBX05 Laptop (Best Buy model)

Which is the same as G51 keyboard.

Second one is identical. That's great because this kb has really worked out for me. I hope they come out with a i7 version of the G72GX in a 16:9 format. Hopefully even a 18.4" screen. My g51 needs a big brother ;)
