In 2012 I got an Asus G73JH Laptop for work and gaming purposes, and it's served me very well all these years. Recently however, the computer started freezing inexplicably, not bluescreening, outright freezing, couldn't figure out why. I took it to a local repair shop who mistook the issue twice before just plain replacing the motherboard and hard drive. They claim the old hard drive was corrupting and replaced it, bu they were unable to transfer anything from the old hard drive, which can't boot anymore. I am able to plug the old hard drive into the laptop using a USB enclosure, and the data can still be read.

I was adviced to just reinstall everything rather than trying to restore the computer, since for some reason image recovery just isn't working (the images I've made aren't being detected when I attempt to install them at startup repair) However I received no discs with the Asus when I first got it, and I have no documentation for what the laptop's preinstalled drivers were.

Is there any sort of documentation as to the preinstalled drivers the Asus G73JH laptop is packaged with?

It has been abandoned for quite some time now, so obviously many of the drivers are outdated by now, but this thread on the official ROG forum might be somewhat helpful for reference.

EDIT: Oh, and make sure to avoid most of the software it came bundled with. Most of it is bloatware and outdated.
