So I ordered a HDD for my laptop to use as a secondary drive and I know I need the bracket, problem is the Asus estore is that the item in question is always out of stock. (Well at least when I check it)

Now I called the estore number on their website and talked to the representative and they told me to email then and basically wait in a line till the item restocks, but since I had already bought the HDD and it's on its way I'm somewhat impatient.

I was told to that this website has the item but I'm a lil iffy about it since its based in Europe and I'm somewhat unfamiliar when it comes to ordering stuff not based in the U.S. So I was wondering if anyone had bought the bracket from this website at all. Thanks

They might not even ship to the US, have you checked that they do? Their shipping info page says items will be sent via "regular postal service". They don't mention anything about international shipping.

hmm, there are alot of people saying that you didnt really need the hd bracket :S and I guess the estore just recently sold out because of the constant promotions of the x1 going on at bb :S

Very true, on shipping I just emailed to find out, install it without the bracket? How? What's the worse thing that can happen?

I think they put foam or something under it :S but I dont recommend it since it might burn :S you should ask them if you could use the HD Bracket from another notebook like the M50, which is instock at the estore I think :D
