    Asus K53SV SX520d - Graphic rating in Windows 7

    Hey

    I've purchased Asus K53SV - SX520d model which has 2gb GT540M card.

    In Windows experience Index , it shows 4.7 for "Graphics - Desktop performance for windows aero " . I've seen scores like 5.7 or 5.9 with 1gb GT520MX card. (Asus model )

    When I open ccleaner , it shows "Intel HD Graphics family " on top instead of nVidia card.

    Also, in Screen Resolution - Advanced Settings it shows Intel HD as adapter.

    I've installed latest drivers from Asus website.

    Any help is appreciated , thank you

    Assuming your laptop has Optimus for switching graphics cards, "Graphics" is for the Intel graphics card and "Gaming graphics" is for the nVIDIA card.

    Tried switching from auto select to "nvidia" in nvidia control panel but still it shows "Intel HD graphics ".

    That can't be changed in Optimus as the Intel card is the only one that is connected to the laptop screen.
