    It's a non standard MXM-A varient (mounting holes non standard), looks to be reversed too.

    So pretty much G53 all over again... I wonder why this the first biz laptop I've come across that actually comes with a MXM card at this size. The laptop would had been way slimmer if they opted for soldered on to the mobo itself, not to mention the cost reduction.

    Depends on depth of fan/heatsink and keyboard travel etc, also the requirements of the model to come with different options.
