Hi guys, recently i bought new Asus K56CB laptop with Nvidia 740M graphics. currently i have 311.44 nvidia drivers installed that came with the laptop. I was looking to install the newest ones so i downloaded drivers for notebooks from nvidia website. When i run the installer it says there's no supported hardware.
This could be the problem of laptop having Hybrid power engine ,but i looked on asus wbesite and it doesnt say anything about having this, theres some sort of gpu switching but i don't think it is optimus.
If theres hybrid power stuff on this laptop can i somehow just turn it off to install nvidia graphics ?

Asus has a history of not implementing switchable graphics, so I doubt that's the issue.

What are your specs (OS + 32 bit or 64 bit especially)? Knowing that will help users to help troubleshoot. :)
