    Hi,

I've been struggling with my laptop not powering up.

I had problems a while ago with my original power supply and bought another one (those universal ones). It powered on just fine. Recently, it started to fail on cable wiggling and I thought "DC power socket is getting lose". Bought another DC harness (the cable connecting DC IN with motherboard) and tested with same power supply. It didn't power up. Next, went to a retail seller to test another power supply. No go.

Well, I thought the new harness was faulty and tested voltage when it wa not connected to board, onlyto power supply. Had the normal 19,3V. But when I plug it to the motherboard, power voltage goes close to 0v. It waves a bit near 0V, like 1,5V, 0,7V, 0V. Even fixed my original power supply (had a faulty cable) and the same thing, I get 19,3V on the tip of the harness but I connect it to the MB and no power. I click on the power button and don't get any power to the MB.

I suppose it might be a faulty/burnt fuse which is not letting power flow ?

Can anyone point me the power fuse on this board?

I have some photos of my motherboard:

    Thanks for any help! :)

I still would be glad to locate power fuse to try and power on laptop bypassing blown fuse.

Can anyone point me to its location?
