I've been having an extremely annoying problem with my laptop for quite some time now (About a year) but I haven't been able to figure it out myself.
The problem occurs right after the startup, my keyboard and touchpad work just fine for a minute or two, it is however clear that the Asus drivers haven't started up yet since I'm unable to use the Fn buttons nor do the gestures work on my touchpad.
However, after these two minutes it's quite clear that the Asus drivers start to boot up. The keyboard and touchpad just stop working for 10 minutes. After these 10 minutes it slowly starts to do everything you did in those 10 minutes. For example, a word that you type while the keyboard isn't working will appear after those 10 minutes very slowly and only a part of it.
To me it's quite clear that this is to do with the Asus drivers that take care of the smart gestures. I've tried updating these drivers but that didn't really help.
I'm now at a point where I'm thinking about just disabling these drivers, but I use the Fn functions and smart gestures quite a lot so I don't just want to get rid of those.
What would you suggest doing in my situation?
