    Hello,

After 5 weeks of Asus having my laptop for repair, i recieved it today!
All works fine and no problems. They fixed my cracked casing and hinge problem. However they replaced the LCD cover, and forgot to remove a protective sticker within the cover over the camera lens. So all i can see is this yellow plastic sticker, and cannot remove it as it is located on the other side of the cover.

So what do i do, do i call Asus and get them to take it off, or do i open it myself? if so how?

    Many Thanks

The first thing you need to do is call Asus, and tell them about the problem. Since it was an error on their part, I would think that they can fix that for you. Only Asus can really tell you what they will and will not cover.

Just don't open the case of your computer before you've talked to them, and explored your options. It's better for them to tell you "No" and then void the warranty, than for you to void the warranty first, THEN have them say "Yes", and charge you later when they discover tampering. While that is something that they may or may not do, why take the risk?
