For the past few weeks my Asus laptop makes a clicking noise when I try to turn it on. It eventually turns on, but today it has just been making this clicking noise and won't turn on. I tried leaving it off for a while and also tried removing the battery for a while. What should I do?

What exact model do you have? Does it have a regular HDD vs a SSD? The noise could be the hard drive. Does it show anything on the screen when you power it up, like the POST or can you get into the BIOS, or is it just dead.

Do you have anything shown on the screen at all? Such as POST screen.

Do let us know your laptop model and the specs (especially if anything was upgraded). :)

If you are not sure, run msinfo32 command, or look on the back side for any sticker that may indicate model & serial no.
