Hey there,
Pretty sure I clicked an odd setting in the bios that I didn't think would cause any problems (regarding a splash screen) but immediately after doing that I just get a black screen when turning on the laptop. I have tried pressing manufacturer suggested keys at startup to troubleshoot but am having no luck now.
I'm assuming I will have to deal with the CMOS battery as there is no other way of reseting the BIOS. Can I simply remove the battery and just place it back in the slot. Or will I have to replace that battery with a new one.
Thank you, if you can help
Steven
