I regularly use my built in webcam to take portraits.

I bought an ASUS N53JF laptop today with a 2.0M webcam. I am severely disaapointed! LifeFrame is extremely laggy and the frame rate is terrible.
I had a 1.3M webcam on my toshiba laptop before and it worked great.

Are there any alternative programs or anything I can download to substitute for LifeFrame? Anything so that I can take decent pictures with?

    Thanks.

Hi there laptopnoobuser...I didn't buy your same model, but I did get a U43JC-X1 model...and I have the same problem with my 2.0M webcam. For such high-end laptops, I'd expect them to at least equal my $200 netbook. I've tried everything...I feel like this is their status quo for webcams, will update if I find anything.
