    Hey guys, just thought I might share with the guys who hasn't figured this out on the M50.

    It's something so simple, yet something that bothered me alot!! The automatic light sensor. It's always too dark for me, and I don't like the automatic light sensor effect. So after google search I came up with..

    Press FN and A

    Whala! :) Nice and bright :)

    Lemme know if you guys found this helpful, cheerio :)

    I may be in the minority, but I like the ambient light sensor and have found it very useful and effective. On my system the ATK hotkeys were not set to load at startup (thus none of the Fn hotkeys functioned), and I had to create a shortcut at startu to the HControl application in C:\Program Files (x86)\ATK Hotkey (I'm using Vista64).

    Disabling the light sensor may save battery (I'm not sure how much), but other than when I'm trying to do that I prefer to keep it enabled.

    Cool, very interesting to hear other peepz opinion :)

    I also like to have as few possible startup services as possible.

    @m394byt3

    Thanks for the tip, its something to keep in mind if I purchase a M50Vm-A1 ;)

    EDIT: Just tried this and it makes a BIG improvement with the brightness of the screen! :) Easy to turn on and off.

    It bothered me also, and I'm happy with your fix !

    it didn't work first, but as I'm from Belgium, I'm using an AZERTY keyboard;
    FN+Q did the trick here

    thanks!
