OK so I've been having a small issue for a while now and i do believe its time for me to replace the LCD screen on my laptop. I've already replaced the graphics card and while I appreciate the upgrade I'm still having red "snow" and blue lines periodically on my LCD that I cannot replicate using the HDMI out so I figure I'll just replace the LCD and keep going on my little machine that could.

I was just curious as to what screen EXACTLY i need. I know its the 15.4" screen but what about resolution, WXGA vs WSXGA+, lamp numbers, etc?

Any useful links and/or answers from those in my shoes would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to buy something that I have to send back if I can help it. Thanks all!

    Thanks!!

Nevermind - i found out what I need from my receipt from abut 4 years ago.

    We can close this thread.

    THANKS!!!!

Symptoms sound like it could be your inverter, and not the LCD...
