I recently bought an M50v. I use it to play WoW among other things. I have a vent server for voice chat while playing WoW. Everything was setup and working fine until I tried doing video chat in MSN messenger with a friend of mine. We couldn't get it working right and now nobody can hear me on the vent server. I can hear them fine. Any ideas? I'm at wits end on this one.

    ***EDIT***
It's an M50vm-a1 to be exact

Sorryh about that. I still need help.

I can hear everything fine but I can't talk into headset or the mic on the laptop. Is it broken or is there some sort of patch that I"m missing?

I have no idea what is the problem, but, according to the golden rule of computing, I would remove and reinstall the sound card drivers, and hope for the best. :D

Also make sure nothing is muted in the sound control panel.

(no prob for the wrong section, it happens, new users get confused sometimes)
