    If you're doing gaming, get the G50vt-X1. It gets about 2 hours of battery life on a full charge, less if you have things turned up. Also, it says it has a 9800m GT-- that's wrong, it's a 9800m GS.

    The M50V is a great entertainment laptop with a decent GPU and likely a better screen, etc. Stronger CPU, too. If you're watching movies more than playing games and want to have something more portable, get this instead. The G50vt is a beast to lug around sometimes.

    Someone else can quote prices better, but I'd guess about $600 minimum for a used G50vt-X1. I don't know about the M50. I know its full retail price is more expensive, though.
