    Hey,

I went and enabled Intel Virtualization Technology and VT-D. Saved settings, and it tried to reboot, but wouldn't post. It won't post now...

Turns on, caps and num lock light go on, then hdd, then just hdd light, then off.

    Can i reset the BIOS?

Remove the AC adapter and battery then hold down the power button for 60 seconds. Then plug everything back in and try it again.

If this doesn't work, locate the CMOS reset switch or the CMOS battery. When you do, either push the reset button to reset the CMOS or remove the CMOS battery completely for 60 seconds and then reinstall it to reset the CMOS.

    Good luck.

don't panic, try remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter, find a paper clip and stick into the reset hole at the bottom of the notebook for 5 seconds, that should clear the BIOS settings.

    So, did it work?

There is a more detailed no-POST checklist on my Tips and Tricks thread.

Yes it did. It completely reset my BIOS and POSTed again.

Any idea why it "died" though? I mean if it's in the BIOS and supported by the CPU/chipset, shouldn't it work?
