    Hello cool people,

    In brief:
I have Asus M50Vm-B2 and for the record it worked perfectly until I got this W7 installation done. I did clean installation of Windows 7(Retail 32bit) and so far everything is fine. But to be honest, I had to go manually to search all the necessary drivers since 10% of the Vista's Asus OEM CD drivers simply don't open. Anyway, the PC is working well beside this annoying Windows start error I'm getting.

Please, if you have any suggestions on which W7 drivers must be installed, their order and/or how to escape from the error from above, I'd really really appreciate that!
    Thank you so much!

    Cheers

Are there any Asus M50Vm-B2 W7 drivers on the market yet or not?

No ASUS did not want to release any Win7 drivers for M50VM as they think this is already an old model which they do not want to support anymore with Win7.

I have also M50Vm and I collected all the drivers for this notebook.
Here is the link to the thread where I discuss that.

Or you can also go to the ASUS download page and download drivers from ASUS M50Vc which is basically same model but with I think a different processor.
    Here is the link:
    http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?model=M50Vc&os=29&SLanguage=en-us

Everything on my notebook also works, but what I was not able to make work 100% is the dual mode touchpad.
In the M50Vc section there is a driver for touchpad but this is generic, so only the basic touchpad works but not the dual multimedia mode.
So I am still using Vista driver for it with which only partial operation of the dual mode functions are possible.
