Some lucky guy from Intel has managed to snag an Asus M51VA to "test" World of Warcraft over WiMAX in Taipei (preparation for tomororw's COMPUTEX 2008, no doubt):

I have not seen or touched any current M50's and M51's yet, so can anyone shed some light on how the keyboard feels on the 15.4"? My A8Ja is 14.1" and I just can't see how they can fit a numpad without shrinking the current keys, unless they use a thicker bezel for the screen.

Oh ya the Asus is sweet too I want WiMax! -

ClearSkies Well no, I'm still here..
The M5x series runs the keyboard from edge to edge, literally, as in the photo; it is full sized. Asus' 14" models have top chassis bezel on each side, so that's the difference. -
Also the laptop is a little larger than most 15.4". My wife wanted to keep her old laptop case but couldn't fit the darn thing in it.

The keyboard feels great. It doesn't feel any smaller then the keyboard I was using with my desktop.

Yep, just noticed that earlier today, but the blogger said he did play WoW, and of course only WoW uses Internet connection (so that he could test the WiMAX), so maybe that really is just a shot of him in his own free time.

Hmm... The edge seems to be of the same width as my 14". I guess I'll have to really check it out up close to see the difference.
And can you clarify what you mean by "top chassis bezel"? Again my 14" has a bezel of similar width to the pictured laptop. -

Ack, I posted incorrectly - I meant 15.4 when I was typing and you caught me
.
You're correct on the 14" bezel; I intended to compare the M5x to Asus' standard 15.4" bezel around the keyboard.
Sorry to all for the confusion
