I bought it from these guys: http://www.pagecomputers.com/cgi-bin/page/T0905854.html#

Unfortunately, when I bought it they only had 8 and now I'm afraid zero. [V] (Use "Check real-time availability"; don't believe the "in stock!" label)

I would bookmark them though and keep an eye out or just use pricegrabber.com and use "m5n battery" as your search term, though they were the lowest by far.

Pagecomputers though was very good...I believe I orderd the battery either Sunday night or Monday night and had it by Wed. morning. Can't beat that.

At this point you've probably had Linux on this laptop for a couple of years (if you still have the laptop) :) ,,, I just got one off of ebay for ,, get this,, $420.00US ,, yes that other bidder was not happy :)

Ok anyhow, I wanted to know if A) Linux has continued to be a happy and easily installed camper? and B) If Windows XP is already on the system is it a simple matter of putting in the latest Fedora CD and initiate a dual boot installation, and C) Does Fedora support a suspension when you close the lid?

Thanks for answers that you or anyone might give me about this.

Hello, I know this was an old post but it was the only one that I could see that remotely had anything to do with my memory question.

I just boought a M5200N and the guy running the auction also had a 214-Pin SODIMM in another auction that he is recommending. However I checked out this site http://www.memoryx.net/asm5mme.html which point out that what I need is a 172pin module. I am also looking at the different voltages as well. His auction is a 1.8V, and I am looking at 2.5V so far.

He 'sounds' like he knows what he is talking about and insists that it will go in the M5200N.

You will need to give a little bit more detail about the problem to get meaningful help.

You mean you tried to install the driver and it didn't work? If so, how exactly did it fail? Or that the device doesn't show up at all in the device manager? Or what exactly?

    Hi guys,

I recently found out that my M5200N only has 1 RAM slot. I already occupied that slot with a Kingston 512MB RAM. I wish to buy a new 1GB RAM to replace but i read some place saying that this model only supports up to 768MB. Is that correct? Is there anyway that i could upgrade my laptop to be > 1GB RAM?
