Found it here in the UK, and put an order in. They say it'll arrive in the UK on the 17th of August. Anyone else been able to get there hands on the M755?

From the pic and description, the M67 series on that site looks to be the same as the M6BN in the states. In general the M6 series. Here, the M6BN has the ATI Radeon 9600 and the M6BNe (newer) the Radeon 9700 GPU. Very common and popular.

    Here's the Asus site link:

Peter, that's where I started. I saw a review in a UK magazine that said the M6000ne was the fastest thing they'd tested. I looked at the specs, and ergonomics and thought - it looks like a PC version of a powerbook - I'll have it.

Found a few reviews on the web but most are for the 1.7GHz (M745) - and wondered if anyone had been able to get hold of the 2.0GHz (M755) version. I'm hoping to in a weeks time!

I thought I read somewhere that intel might have problems supplying the demand for the 2.0GHz version - hence the reason for no one talking about it.

I'll have a look around, and if I am the first person in the world I'll run all the disgnostic tools so people can decide if the extra power is worth the price.

That or my supplier has lied to me and it'll be next year before M755 get released into the wild.

Ahhh, I see. Most are opting for the 1.7 as the "sweet spot" of price vs. performance. If no one here responds having the 2.0, you can try http://notebookforums.com/ in the "Notebook General" section.

I have the 2.0GHz CPU. That and the 7200rpm drive certainly make my compiles go faster. I posted a couple benchmark results in the hardware forum already...
