Hi. I've been using an Asus M6BNe laptop (WXGA LCD) for about a month with no problems. It's been awesome. Unfortunately today when I went to turn it on, the LCD is solid white. I can throttle the brightness up and down and it gets less/more white but nothing else is displayed. The computer otherwise runs properly. I can connect an external monitor to it and everything works.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might be able to fix this myself? Is there a way to see if the data connection from the chipset to monitor is loose? If no one has any ideas I guess I'll be taking it back to the shop for repairs. Thanks.
