    Hi everyone!
After checking out that there wasn't very much information regarding the new bios version 0208 I decided to flash it to see whether or not it was ok. Given the feedback on the 0207 one I was a bit reluctant on flashing this one but the tentation of trying it out was too strong ;P

The version I had previously installed was 0205 and it worked real fine, apart from the (rare) sudden 4000rpm fan burst :p, it turned on at 60ºC w/ 3000rpm and off when it reached 54ºC. I never saw that 3600rmp midterm even at +70ºC.

With the new BIOS the fan seemed to be ALWAYS on, even at temps below 40ºC, although with what it seemed to be a lower rotation compared to the 3000rpm felt in the 0205. It would also speed up to ~3600rpm at 60ºC.

I personally don't like noise at all, especially when it comes to notebooks, and even if the notebook does run at lower temps I find it unnecessary to keep the fan turned on all the time, it gets quite irritating, especially when working.

    So, resuming this whole thing:
If you use your notebook mostly for gaming than maybe you won't feel much of a diference with the added noise(since you're probably doing noise already ;P).
Everyone else who likes to have a quiet notebook I don't recommend to upgrade.

I reverted back to version 0205 using a BootCD to flash it via DOS and i'm much happier now...

0208 seems to work fine for me... works a little better than 0207 from my experience.
