    Hi,

Just got my new Asus M6Ne
    Pentium M 1.7 Dothan 2Mb cache
    15.1'
    ATI 9700
    1Gb Ram
    60 Gb/7200 rpm Hdd
    Windows XP prof

My fist impression is that this is a very nice laptop. Looks nice and is solid, quiet and has a sharp display.

I haven't run any speed tests per say but it feels very quick.

I have a question: how can I determine the wireless card type?

    Thanks
    Justin

Look in Device Manager... expand Network Adaptors. You should see the Intel Pro/Wireless 2200 B/G or whatever card you have.

It turn out that it was not included. Bummer.
Should the wireless card be included or it's an optional feature that has to be ordered?

Should I buy the Intel one or another model. If other, which one do you recommend.

    Thanks
    Justin

    The wireless card is optional.

If you plan to use the internal mini-PCI slot, you might as well use the Intel card. Usually it's the cheapest ($29 or so) anyway.
