Hey guys, I'm looking for some help upgrading an Asus M6R's ram. First of all I have no idea which chipset/ram it uses because I can't find any documentation on this laptop on Asus' website or any other websites. Secondly, I assume it's got two RAM slots, one under the keyboard and one at the bottom however I have no idea how to access the slot under the keyboard.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

There are two screws marked with a "K>" which are under the system and need to be removed. Then flip it back over and above the top keys there are three spring clips which need to be pushed back and the keyboard should pop right up one at a time. Basically, look about the "ESC", "F8", and "DEL" keys.

We didn't get that model here, but I believe it takes DDR333... I could be wrong and it may take 266, but you can check that against the other stick. Basically though it's an so-dimm of whatever size you want.

Thanks Justin, that was great help. I opened it up and apparently there are two 256MB sticks; one is a 333Mhz and the other is 200Mhz. However, in the BIOS it shows both sticks are actually 192MB, thus the total is 384MB.

If I only have one single stick in the system it still says both are 192MB... Does anyone know why that may be?
