I was wondering if there are any Asus Notebooks that have Windows Media Center built in? If not, does anyone know of any non-Microsoft alternatives to Windows Media Center?

    Thanks!

No - but the next generation W1 and W2 will have built in tv tuner cards and will come with Asus' Home Theater software....... it's not media center edition, but it does a really good job and it works on xp pro and basically does the same thing. Those are only on the units with the built in tv tuners.

    Thanks,
    Justin

Justin, just a bit off topic, do you think there would be any ASUS notebooks out with an expresscard slot by the end of may?

I don't see any coming up..... the last notebook that is all new to come out is the W2 and that doesn't have it to the best of my knowledge.... the M5/S5/W1/M6 updates probably won't have them either.

    Thanks,
    Justin
