Hey all
I was planning on buying a good 9"-10" notebook and was gonna choose from the msi nc10, lenovo s10, dell mini 9 and HP mini 1000. How old is the Asus N10J-A2? Is it the newest mini notebook? It's the only one with a 9300 GS 256 mb nvidia card in its class. Need some input from you guys here in the asus forums

Unless you plan on gaming or overclocking the processor for true HD video support over HDMI, I would save your money. I only suggest a netbook if you use it for any of the following: Tetris, Solitaire, MS Word, Internet, Music, portable SD video player, Metro laptop. Do not buy it to: play the newest games, watch HD movies, edit video, mix audio. I prefer the 10" models with standard HDD, so I will only discuss them. However, there are many 9" and SSD models that are awesome, just not what I need/want. Ok, the Lenovo S10 is not as popular as people think due to its initial launch and price. Overall, it is a great netbook with its best feature being its one-touch recovery. The Asus 1000H/HA was one of the first in class to put a 6 Cell battery (6.5hrs) and average specs out at a decent price. The NC10 is a very popular decision as well, but again, late in the game. The Asus 1002HA is the new sleek version of the 1000H and is my preference for anyone who only needs 2-3 hours of battery life. If you had to buy a netbook and budget was not much of an issue, I would look at the NC10, 1002HA, or the new Clevo models that will be formally released next year. If you can wait till they break, you may find yourself with a great machine. I love the 1002HA...my only issue is that as a student I need 5-6 hours of battery life for 3-2hour classes of notes, thus I went with the 1000H/HA. If you have absolutely no budget and truly want the best thing, the Sony TT (or older sibling TZ) is the way to go. Without a doubt the best sub-notebook... I have skipped over a lot of the details and such, but if you make a specific inquiry, I or another, can answer it for you.

thanks geng for the reply. No worries as I stated above, I will not play newer games. I seen youtube videos who were playing world of warcraft on their dell mini 9 and HP 1000 mini. So I'm guessing I should be able to play WoW on these at lease without that much of a problem.
Now what can you tell me about the Asus N10J-A2?
And the Sony Vaio TT is too expensive and I believe its a bit bigger than other 10" notebooks. -
There are videos on youtube of someone playing COD4 and Crysis on N10. However, some people say that does videos are fake, but they look real to me.. I dont know what to believe...
