    Hello,

I recently bought the Asus N43SL.
Unfortunately the windows/hardrive comes in MBR.
Trying to install windows using UEFI/GPT, I enable UEFI in the BIOS and boot from option UEFI: DVD.
The DVD boots but hangs before the installation process in the "starting windows" screen. (tried with several DVDs)
I have found a thread of someone with the same problem without any answer (besides several others in other forums) ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Forum- UEFI Windows 7 install hangs at "Starting Windows"

Some people manage to solve the problem by disabling usb or floppy, non-existing options in this laptop's BIOS.

Anyone faced this problem and was able to solve it? Suggestions?
    Thanks.

    Regards,
