    Hey all, i bought an asus n46vz (i7 3610,gt650m,1tb,6gb ddr3) in cnet site it's said it has keyboard back-lit but it haven't(or maybe it's not working for me) i really appreciate who able shed light on this for me, i really confused, :confused:

    Other sites says as well, it has a back-lit keyboard. Does the keyboard lights up when booting (for a few seconds)? If yes, then probably it is a driver issue - ATK package.
    My sisters N56VJ had this problem - reinstalling the software solved it.

    However, if it does not lights up on boot as shown here, probably you have a hardware fault.

    no it doesn't. it doesn't even have fn+ f3,f4 (it's not printed anything on those keys)

    from one of the best warranty resellers in iran. maybe i should go there and ask it from them!!!

    Yeah, numerous sources claim it has a backlit, chiclet style keyboard. Have you already tried updating the ATK package and tried turning it on with your FN hotkeys? If it doesn't work still, the LEDs could be bad or there may be a loose connection.

    If you can't get it to work, contact your reseller. :) That will probably be easier than contacting Asus.

    hi guys two weeks ago i bought asus n46vz with windows 8 but unfortunately the start up is too loggy and sometimes black screen appears after windows 8 logo .
    copy spees is very slow and never exceed 30mb/s.
    i want to know has my hdd crashed? :confused:
    or this problems are usual.
