I accidentally deleted a boot entry for Windows 7 using EasyBCD. Now, my laptop is not able to boot to Windows 7.

After investigation, I found out that the Windows partition is hidden. Moreover, it is also a EFI System Partition, which is strange since it file system is NTFS.

Any suggestion ? I tried Startup Repair but it said the recovery is not compatible.

Have you got Windows 7 Recovery CD or at least Windows 7 on CD? All you have to do is repair MBR, just run Windows Recovery from CD and let the program do the thing.

About hidden partition, ASUS and many other vendors provide laptops with hidden partitions, so inexperienced users won't delete it.
