Hey guys so I've had this problem since the very first day I bought my laptop about 2 years ago and feel like trying to get it resolved finally. I have problems with the graphics in some games where it'll have all these stretched out shapes in various colors and heres a couple old examples,

These were from a while ago but it also happens in black ops, to a smaller degree in CS:S/TF2, and rarely in SC2 or HON.
I sent my laptop into ASUS to get it fixed with the same screenshots and telling of my problem. They had it for about a month and a half and sent it back but it still had the same problem because all they did was something to the coolant.
Anyone have any solutions or can help in any sort of way? It would be greatly appreciated!

If they've cleaned the cooling fan, and the artifacts still remain, it is more likely that the GPU has malfunctioned, and require a new one. It is most likely the GPU has been damaged under high temperature stress.
Perhaps you should bring this up to ASUS next time you try contacting them. -
How could it break from high stress if I had the problem ever since I unboxed it? Also my GPU doesnt get over about 60ish degrees when I run the furmark thing or playing games
-
Then the GPU is defective to begin with, I'm afraid. Contact ASUS's tech support, and let them know that your notebook requires a new GPU, and not just a 10 second fan cleaning with compressed air.

Will they fix it even if its been about 2 years since I bought it?

You didn't bother to send the laptop in for repair even with artifacts when gaming? = =....
It really depends on your warranty. If you have the standard 2 year warranty, then it might be a bit difficult. -
Well at the time I was really involved with WoW and didnt have the time to do it but when I did all I had was problems with their customer service and never got a tracking number when they claimed they shipped it and waited 2 weeks after they told me it was so I dont wanna deal with that again...
I talked to one of the authorized stores or w/e and they said itd only take a few days if I take it in tho. Any idea on what itll cost?? -
You'll have to ask what kind of service will be performed, in order to judge the price. Personally I really doubt swapping out a GPU will only take a few days.

Same exact thing happened to me but after the second RMA they replace the mainboard but broke a sata slot
